Weird Art Canvas Journal

This is a journal I made from raw canvas, which I cut into signatures and sewed into a canvas covers. I love making these journals because they are so easy to make and I can make them in any size I want.

The inspiration for this one came from a desire to develop a less “pretty” style. My art was consistently being called “whimsical”, and while I do like that, I also wanted to paint a little weirder. This journal was a safe, private place to feel a little more free and experimental.
